Conference Interpreting
Will the participants in your panel discussion be speaking different languages?
Do you require interpretation into German, English, or French for a conference, annual general meeting, award ceremony, or sporting event?

Simultaneous Interpreting (learn more)
Simultaneous interpreting means translating speech in real time as it is being spoken.
This highly demanding form of interpretation requires maximum concentration and precision, which is why interpreters typically work in pairs and — ideally — from a soundproof booth.
Your guests or participants listen to the interpretation through headphones. The main advantage of simultaneous interpreting is that it saves time — the event can proceed without interruptions. I work within a strong network of experienced professionals and will gladly arrange for a qualified co-interpreter for your event.Looking for a different language combination, such as Arabic or Russian? I’m happy to connect you with trusted colleagues from my network.
Consecutive Interpreting (learn more)
I also offer professional consecutive interpreting for your event.
In this mode, longer sections of speech are interpreted after the speaker has finished. The interpreter and speaker typically stand or sit side by side.Consecutive interpreting is often more personal and direct, making it ideal for business negotiations, site visits, or official meetings. Please note that this format requires roughly twice the amount of speaking time due to its sequential nature.
Chuchotage (learn more)
For one or two listeners, whispered interpreting — or chuchotage — may be a suitable solution and requires no technical equipment. The interpreter sits or stands close to the listener(s) and interprets simultaneously in a low voice. As this method can be physically taxing for all involved, it’s best suited to specific situations. During a factory tour or site visit, for example, a tour guide system is often the more practical option — which I can provide upon request.
Community Interpreting (learn more)
Do you need interpretation for official appointments, legal meetings, or school and hospital visits in and around Leipzig?
I also offer these services in Spanish, my fourth working language. I am currently preparing to obtain my sworn interpreter certification in Spanish.

I offer both simple and certified translations. In the film sector, I bring passion and creativity to translating screenplays, pitches for films and series, and subtitles.

Producing
As a professional interpreter and translator, I bring not only linguistic expertise but also key competencies valuable to the film industry: thorough research skills, adaptability, and a sharp ear for tone and dialogue. These skills have allowed me to support several international productions.
On the multilingual Netflix series 1899 by Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar, I worked as Language Coordinator — the organizational and creative bridge between writer Jantje Friese and a 22-person translation team. My responsibilities included coordinating and conducting language coaching, answering script-related linguistic questions, proofreading the English series script, on-set dialect coaching, and subtitling.
For the Japanese Netflix production Soul Mate (release 2025), I worked as a Dialect Coach, supporting the Japanese and Korean cast with their English and German dialogue and ensuring linguistic accuracy during filming.
Subtitling is another area of my expertise. I’ve worked on various projects including: Coup de Grâce by Lisa Vicari (NYC Premiere 2024), Short Notice (2025, Queer Short Film), Eden (2024, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg)
Are you planning an international or multilingual film or TV production? Do you need linguistic support in English, French, or Spanish? Looking for someone who can serve as a bridge between language and logistics? Need a professional to check foreign-language dialogue before, during, or after filming — or to handle subtitles with expert precision? Want your screenplay or pitch translated with creativity and accuracy?
I’m here to help.

What My Clients Say
About Me

After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris in 2014 — followed by a year abroad at the University of California, Santa Cruz with a focus on Environmental Science — I completed a Master’s in Conference Interpreting at Leipzig University.
What excites me most about interpreting is building bridges. Bringing people together across different languages and enabling the exchange of knowledge is a true passion of mine.
As Kurt Tucholsky put it: “If you want to reach people, you have to meet them in their own language first.” To me, successful communication in interpreting requires more than just language skills and subject knowledge — it also takes precision, flexibility, and sensitivity.
This holds true whether it’s a corporate presentation or a feminist networking event.
I integrate my interests in science, politics, and film into my assignments. I am always eager to deepen my knowledge in familiar areas — or to explore new topics, both linguistically and conceptually.

I’m based in Leipzig and available for assignments throughout Germany and internationally.
